Let there be light. The Ixia story.
In 2008 a ray of sunshine opened up onto the world of HR. Ixia was born.
With this arrival came a simple but very passionate business belief:
People spend more time at work than outside of work. Let’s engage them – properly. Fully engaged people are motivated to do their best, they develop a sense of connection and loyalty to the wider organisation, not just their immediate teams. They will deliver beyond what is expected of them and be more accepting of organisational change. They’ll feel happy at work. Engaged, happy people make businesses successful for the long term.
Our beliefs are built on solid, academic foundations which we undertook with Henley Business School, part of the University of Reading.
When you look at the best performing businesses and organisations in the world, you’ll find within them happy, high performing teams. This is The result of prioritising Employee Engagement as vital statistic in the health of a business. Most importantly these businesses see Employee Engagement as a long term journey, not a short term destination.
With over 20 years’ experience at senior level HR, Anna Cleland always carried with her the strong belief in the importance of effective Employee Engagement. She wanted to make a difference to people and to businesses. To make work a better place to be.
Often, organisations recognise a need to engage their employees, but just don’t know how best to do this. For other businesses, their current approaches have stopped being effective and they get stuck in a survey rut.
Ixia works with all sorts of different organisations in all sorts of industries at all different stages of Employee Engagement. The Ixia team is headed up by Anna and they work (happily!) together with their shared passion for delivering effective Employee Engagement with a supportive, friendly and can-do approach.
Ixia’s fundamental belief is that everyone has the power to make a positive difference within their organisation – if they are engaged enough to do so. One eye on the future…
With people working for longer, Ixia can see that the importance of Employee Engagement will continue to strengthen. For some organisations, surveys will continue to be at the centre of their Employee Engagement strategy. However, for other clients there is a need for another piece to complete the jigsaw….
