How to choose the right expert to help with your employee engagement strategy.

Employee engagement is becoming more and more important for several reasons. With a global economy, there is more competition in all industries than ever before. We are an ageing population and working for longer than generations before us. As a society we are demanding a better quality of life and work forms a big part of that.

The spotlight is on for effective employee engagement.

So where does it all start?

With knowledge. You need to know what’s going on in the minds of your people and be able to measure how this changes over time. A well written survey can do this for you. However, well written is the key here. It all starts with spending time and effort designing the right questions – the questions you really need the answer to so that you don’t end up in muddle at the end.

If you have over 200 employees chances are this isn’t something you want to undertake yourselves. Bring in the experts. There are some giants of the employee engagement world out there. They bring to the table a well established process that you can slot into. However, there isn’t always a great deal of flexibility with such processes, and depending on how tailored and flexible you want the whole experience to be, a smaller sized expert can often be a good approach.
